I'm looking at picking up an 996 Targa, but the car has a (hopefully) small issue. When I pressed the button to close the Targa shade, the motor ran, but the shade did not move. When I pulled the shade forward a bit manually, and pressed the "close" button, the shade eventually caught/pulled forward a bit, but not all the way. Pressing the "close" button resulted in nothing but clattering as the motor ran, and the shade went nowhere.

I'm assuming someone out there has experienced this before. What type of repair would I be looking at, should I decide to snag this car?
