I'm trying to get my ecu flashed for my 99 c2 carrera but I have seem to have hit a wall. Apparently the 99 c2 model has a different ecu then the all the other models and the ecu flash is no longer available. I have tried Evoms motor sports and fab speed. Does any on here own a 99 c2 and had their ecu flashed?
I'm ok with not doing the ecu flash if I can't. Just want to make sure I cover all my options.

 

Not worth the price anyways unless you are trying to spoof the rear O2 sensors for catless headers which would get you no where in CA.

Put the money towards a 02+ with variocam plus. World of low end difference. [I owned both 99 and 02]

It is a simple mod, you trade/sell your 1999 for a 2002+ 996 which has a larger 3.6L engine and also a smarter intake camshaft that has variable lift. The difference in the driving is night and day and I would ask you to go test drive a 2002-2005 996.
