I had 19's on my 99 a long time ao with no issues. Just can't remeber the specs.
The 19's on my C4S worked like a charm.
Kerry, man I am no where near as loaded as you are

In consideration of the aspect ratio on the 19 inch tires, how much overall diameter will be gained when you compare the 19 inch to the 18 inch wheel and tire once it is mounted and stuffed back under the car?
For the most part, I like my 18s that came on the car (Porsche 02 Carrera 5 spoke). What I don’t like about them is there is no lip. She is currently shod with 225 30 ZR18 up front, and 285 40 ZR 18s at the rear. The sidewalls seem to curve from the rim to the tread line in such a way that makes the tire seem narrower than the wheel. This also seems to position the spokes most distally and most prone to abrasion if there is ever contact with the curb. Plus it doesn’t look too cool.
Taking into account the stock offset of these wheels (which I’d like to have powder coated black), new H&R lowering springs, and the weight savings of ditching my stock exhaust (including the cats) for headers, a cat bypass, and PFM, is there a wider tire that will fit on my stock rims and not rub?

I think he explained this in another thread. Trunk space limited his use as a DD, $$$, and the amount of time he drove the car Vs. cost.
I do agree one of the best looking C4S's I have seen

Eric is right.
I see it every so often here in the CO area (butthead new owner does not take as good care of it as he should). I just could not justifyt he 1200 or so a month it was costing me for the amount of use I got out of it.
I soooo miss it. I ran across some pictures the other day and was just sick.
I did tell the guy if he sells I want first rights to buy it
