Sandoval,

Do you think I need those FabSpeed calmps if I'm installing new tips? I'm doing the same as you; headers, cat bypass and mufflers, plus the tips.

Also, are you still painting calpers?

yes, the stock clamps blow. by the fabspeed ones.

on a side note, i talked to mike at awe. he said they got 12 crank HP with their headers, high flow cats, and mufflers combined for the 3.6 liter.

i made that with my suncoast headers alone.

I'll order the clamps in the morning. Sandoval, I shot you a PM RE: calipers.

I spoke with Nate at Evo and he told me the headers would be a wash - good for the sound only. He feels I'm going to be picking up HP from eliminating the cats, installing the free flow mufflers, the V flow intake and the chip. All told he thinks I'd be looking at 40- 45 HP gain on a NA 3.6.

that sounds a little optimistic. typically you can't just add all the projected HP for each mod together, which is what i think he's doing. i'm also assuming he means crank HP.

get it on the dyno when you're done. a 3.6 should be making around 275 to the wheels. if all the claims are accurate, you should be well over 300 rear wheel HP.

i'm really curious to see what you guys think of the cat bypass. please be sure to give us some feedback on the noise and CEL's.

by the way, Mike at AWE said their high flow cats only generate around 5-6 HP. fabspeed says around 8-10 hp for their bypasses. then again, fabspeed also claims 10 HP just for their mufflers

Nate claimed 10 - 12 for the intake, another 12- 15 for the exhaust and another 15 - 20 for the GIAC chip. And, yes, I also assume he's talking crank HP. If I could get 300 at the wheels I'd be knee deep in tall cotton!!
