A Brumos salesman named Jason says he's bringing a car out (I called him hoping he'd spread the word to his PCar customers)

Right now, I'm thinking we have about 33 coming. Not sure how many people are quietly planning to join from all of the forums that this has been posted on (AMG, NSX, FL Viper, BMW M Car, Lamborghini, Rennlist, Flat6, MKIV Supra Site, etc.). Perhaps another 10 or so? I wish Steve (I6turbo) was going to be in town. Did you guys catch the stats on his car from his post? His Supra puts out 768 HP at the wheels! Steve, I know you'll make the next one.

HEY GUYS, I AM IN. I AM FROM a benz forum, but I will be there... Question is, should I bring my Red Mercedes RENNTech or my H1 Hummer??????I also MAY be able to bring out either a Mocha SL55 (my mothers car) or a Yellow 550 Maranello (Fathers Car Maybe, will know tomorrow)

I will talk to Jason from Brumos tomorrow and see what we got, plus I will talk to my buddy Wes with the Orange MKIV Supra putting down 680.

also, I will talk to some other buddies I have in mind, and my dads partner, who has a 2003 AM Vanquish right off of San Pablo.

I say bring the 550 Maranello if it was up to me but they all sound sweet. The Vanquish would be a nice addition too.

 

I'm too lazy to register at any more car sites to spread the word. Can somebody put something on ferrarichat.com under the Florida (and GA & SC sections if they have them) for me?

Also, I'm updating the list in one of my posts above as people sign on. Check back often.

By chance, does you dad happen to know the guy in Atlantic Beach that has the red 550 Maranello or the guy in Marsh Landing with the titanium 550? If he does know them or any other Ferrari, Porsche, etc. owners please see if he'll pass the meet info. on to them. I'd love to see your father's 550 and any others that may be around.

captlist, did you buy your car new or used? It sounds like my dads old car??? When he had it it had black turbo wheels on it, but when we sold it on our lot (brumos) they switched back over to silver. Was it by any chance a used yellow 996tt from brumos?

 

No it was not the one from Brumos. I know the car you are talking about I think Hurley Haywood drove the car, it had 24k miles. Is your Dad Bob Snodgrass?

 

Kevin, you're killing me -- getting all these interesting cars together and I can't make it! I guess I can only hope everyone has a great time and you all are interested in getting together again soon -- maybe even during the upcoming holidays.

BTW, I'm not sure what my car is making power-wise now. The number I mentioned above was on the old turbo and exhaust system setup. I've since built a larger exhaust system and switched to a turbo with newer technology exhaust wheel and housing (Garrett GT series) that is supposed to support more power (850-925 vs. 750-790 for the old one). Seat of the pants feel says it's stronger, and traction is even more of an issue, but I haven't measured the power so I can't say for certain if it's making more power than before or not.

 

Yep, my name is Harris Snodgrass! The Yellow 996TT we had had around 14K on it, but it was never Hurley's. He sticks to the 911's! (btw, he is my Godfather, so I have a GOOD driving instructor!!!)

I don't think he knows the guys from Marsh Landing although he may. Through his line of work, he does know a lot of people with exotics, but I will ask.
