Smog Check??? Questions
I recently installed a K&N CAI on my 2003 C4S. I'm up for a smog inspection and wanted to ask anyone will my car fail the visual inspection? I also installed B&B mufflers 7 years ago and they haven't been an issue. A friend of mine said he had to reinstall his OEM mufflers to pass his smog. Thank for your comments. Appreciate it much...

Muffler will not be a issue, with the K&N CAI, you will need to take a picture of the set up in the car and send it to K&N and they will send you the required paper work with the CARB # to pass CA smog. BTDT

Hey!! When I installed the K&N I did exactly what you stated in your message. K&N sent me a sticker that I assume will tell the smog inspector the system is up to par! Thank you JohnCa58 for letting me know.

Passed no issues
Passed the test with no issues. All they did was connect to the computer and got their results. He was looking for a emissions sticker but never found one. I think he just manually looked it up. For the K&N CAI he noted the sticker from K&N.
