Looks 100% better, are you still going to let the wife drive it? I know you're now thinking of buying her something new so you can have it...

Hi Trovan,

Yes, this is after repair from the accident on 11/26 last year. Insurance will only pay for the original bumper, we need to pay for the difference. I got that from a private party.

Hi Evo_333,

Actually no problem on the TA bumper, they are perfect fit, but only the front grill, the one on the top of the bumper. For some reason it doesn't fit well, that guy at the body shop need to grind it to make it fit nicely. Thats about it. This car actually is my wife's car, she drives it all the time. She always want a 19" wheel but I think the 18 Kinesis looks great. What do you think? She also wants to lower the car, but she is 10 months pregnant now LOL. I think that will be too bumpy to her hahaha.

Regards
Ced

Hi Eli,

Hahahaha unfortunately I only get to drive it during the weekend. Thats her toy. I really have limited knowledge about cars, i like this forum, by reading it and learn from other memebers, I know what is good. At least I know this TA bumper looks nice hahahahaha and she is very happy with it. I remember last year when we were in the accident, my wife almost cried cause the damage of her car. There are couple things she is bugging me now, first she wants to lower the car cause our rim is 18'. second, she wants to add a wing in the back. I see that 'Misha' selling the GT2M wing at the forum, not sure if that will look good on the C2. Third, she complains about the stereo in the car. And I do notice that, the stock stereo sounds bad, no highs and mids, only BASS ! hehe. We went to a shop, they recommend use the MB QUAD? I don't know if that is good cause I don't know much about car stereos. Some say Boston Accoustic, ADS??? JL Amp.. Any recommendation? I believe it has a subwoofer in the back.

Regards

Mb Quart are nice speakers.. Speakers really come down to personal preference though. Maybe look at some Focal or ADS... the more you spend the happier you are LOL... upgrade the amp and get new speakers all around. You will be very happy. What state are you located? maybe I can steer you to a good stereo shop

MB Quarts are pretty nice speakers, a little spendy but worth every penny. I like Bose but would still go with the MB's over the Bose, just personal preference. Of course the subs are a different story. Remember don't go cheap on the amp, that's where lots of people go wrong, they buy expensive speakers and head units only to go cheap on the amp. The amp is a pretty important element and if you amp is cheap then it will be at peak instead of RMS the whole time (heating issues and will eventurally fail).

Anyhow, we need to meet up some time so I can check out that ride of your (or your wifes) .... I was passing through that intersection on Sunday and thought of your accident....

Nice to hear from you again,

Take care,

-Eli

Definitely lower the car to avoid the nose bleeds she must be having. I used Eibach springs on my 997 and was very pleased with the results..just slightly stiffer.

Get her the 19's or get it lowered. Or both.
