i found out that 4/98 build c2 with 20,000 miles i was looking at had its clutch replaced 1 month after delivery on 7/98 b/c of oil leak. i'm guessing this is RMS leak. if the leak and clutch was replaced and there was no more leak, will it be trouble free for a long time or will the leak come back again. i will not touch this outofwarranty car is oil leak is a chronic incurable problem. i'm getting a dealer mechanic take a look at the underbody tomorrow and hopefully he'll shed some light, but i wanted to ask board's opinions.

 

I had this problem on my 99C4...They replaced my clutch and RMS under warranty and then put another 13K miles with no problems at all on the car....
