Yes, that's obviously true. I just think its extremely optimistic to say you can get a 996 TT with 70k miles in the $30k range. Definitely not the norm. If you can negotiate well you might get a couple grand or so knocked off someones list price, sure. But even that still doesn't put you at around $30k when most all of them with that kind of mileage are asking $40k+. That's all I'm saying.

Here is a current lineup of 99 listings nationwide of 2001-2005 996 TT.

The only ones I see that might get down to the $30k range are high mileage and/or have accidents or salvage titles.

This one might be a decent deal if you are ok with a cabriolet. No telling how much they will negotiate off that price, if any.
