Clicking sound from inside dash behind glovebox.
Has anyone noticed a faint clicking or creaking sound coming from within the dash on the right side behind the glovebox? I think it has something to do with the recirculation vent flap.
It slowly builds up in frequency until it is a continuous creaking sound and will go away if you push the recirculate button. It also is not affected by whether or not the AC compressor is engaged.
Any ideas or experience with this problem? It is not in any technical bulletins for 996 however the 2004 releases are not due out for a bit longer.
