Question Cat pipes look grim...

I was attempting to install my PSE but fell short when I tried to get the bolts to move (RUST) which secure the Clamps that hold the PSE to the Cat pipes. So I may have to take it to a shop tomorrow. My question though I was looking at the car from the rear and the cat pipes hang down below the bumper. I was thinking about possibly having the Cats polished while they are off. Has anyone done this? I know FVD has a sport Cat that is polished but I think it will be cheaper to just polish what I have. I just wanted to get your thoughts.

ZX7R is infamous around these parts
If you do get them polished, be aware that they may discolour after a while due to heat which may negate the polished effect.

Try some WD40 or Liquid Wrench, they usually work pretty well.
