Recommended Bay area service centers

Hello all,

Been in the Bay area for 8 months now and need to have a few things checked on my 2002 996. I am from LA so am not familiar with the places up here.

I have stopped by Rector Motorcars and met a few of the folks there, but would appreciate any local insight. Thanks for your help!

I don't use Rector even it is closer than where I live. I contacted the service advicers there but never get back to me, few time. Then, I went to Carlsen for my C4 & Cayenne. Brian & Beto are nice guys and very easy to deal with.

If you live in the South Bay, I also used StevenCreek Porsche twice and they were also very good.

In additional, Porsche PCA tech, Peter Smith no longer at StevenCreek and started to work at Rector few month ago. Maybe someone can tell us is Rector better than before?
