I am a person who enjoys all kinds of cars and currently own (as my fun car) a 1964 Corvette coupe. My wife and I have come across a 2002 dark blue Cabriolet that is simply stunning. It really drives like a dream. I started to do some research on the model and I am now scared out of my mind with the IMS bearing amongst other expensive sounding things. I had company cars like BMWs so I know German cars are expensive to fix. I have zero proof that the IMS bearing has been replaced so we all know what that means. I can get the car in the high $20's range and all indicators is that it is a $35k car. It has had 7 owners, no wrecks, new rear tires, and 66k miles. Here are some pics. What are your thoughts? I cannot believe I am considering this.
