Does anyone know where the switch is to activate the front hood light. My light remains on when I close the hood.

I am not 100%, but from a quick search, it comes up as either a micro switch on or in the latch mechanism, or a old push button style by the hood hinge.

IDo not see how the swicth separates from the latch. did find 2 wires going to the latch. The wiring is attached to the complete latch mechasim and the switch looks to be a part of the unit. I think you have to replace the whole latch.
