Combination of bumper and wing
Combination of bumper and wing
someone told me with different combination of bumper and wing will result the different aero dynamic on the track. so is that meant we can't choice the combination of bumper and wing ?
Unless you take your car to the extreme it should not really matter...e.g. Porsche uses same front on GT3 and GT3R/RS but with differing wings...Ususally - bigger wing = more downforce = better!!
I agree, unless you plan on going ballistic on the freeway the aerodynamics shouldn't really matter. But I'm not sure when the aerodynamics start to matter. On my '78 911SC, you can feel when the rear "air foil" start to work around 70mph (you can really feel it working at 90mph).
You want to becareful if there too much downforce up front or in the rear though. Too much down force in the front could loosen the rear (done that on the '78 SC - had the front lower spoiler before adding the rear air foil). I wouldn't do that again. Having too much down force in the rear would probably lift the front(?) which wouldn't be good either (don't know how this feels though).

did you end up getting the spoiler and front bumper? i'm thinking of doing the same combination~ where do you plan on buying your spoiler from? Can you send me pictures of your car to auclutch@hotmail.com ? Thanks~
