Anyone know of a place in Virginia that will calibrate and certify speedometers?

Does anyone know of a place in Virginia (preferably Northern Virginia) that will calibrate and certify my speedometer reading?

I got speeding ticket and was told that having your speedometer checked, and showing up in court with documentation saying your speedometer was off is very common. I'd like the calibration to show it's 4 mph too low . . .

Depending on the policy of the DA's office in your area, you can go to the DA's office(not call) and ask if you can pay the ticket and court cost and get an improper equipment so the ticket doesnt show up on your insurance.

If you were going 15mph+ over the speed limit, then I would go the speedometer route.

I was going 15+ over.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a speedometer calibration place? You can send me an email or pm if you want. Thanks.
