Fab Speed Muffler Bypass & O2 Sensor

The Check Engine LIght comes on for various reasons on all 1996 on cars. The 996, 997, GT3 cars with CUP muffler bypass pipes CAN NOT cause any engine damage NOR can they cause a check engine light. It is not possible under any circumstances.
Something else is causing the CEL light. You should not be alarmed by the CEL light.........yes it can be annoying but can from from various faults like loose gas cap, bad O2 sensor, oil on MAF, or some maintenance or fault that just occured after you made a simple exchange to the exhaust or some other area of the car. You should not loose any sleep or dispair on any CEL light for a simple modification to the exhaust system.
Porsche 996, 997, and GT3 catalytic converters sometimes fail on stock cars and the cores can become dislodged or loose. I have personally seen 8 sets of catalytic converters fail and Porsche dealers have to replace them under Federal Law as the feds require durability/ warranty that of 10 years and 120,000 miles.
I have numerous customers that daily drive their 996, GT3, and 997 cars with a numerous combinations from mild to race ONLY catbypass pipes along with muffler bypass pipes. If you keep the STOCK cats on any Porsche and change the rear exhaust..........you should never ever have a check engine light no matter what exhaust system you select.

Once the grease burns off and the code is cleared the problem seems to go away. Another common problem is that the computer has not properly programed itself for the new exhaust flow. Now Im not sure that this is a coincidence but after I installed my bypass exhaust the CEL came on. I used it for around 600 miles with the CEL on. The code is P1130 which is the precat 02 sensors. I replaced the bypass exhaust with my stock ones but the CEL came back on. At this point, I will replace my precat 02 sensors as a first step coz it appears that the bypass aiflow already damaged my 02 sensors. Hopefully it didn't damage my cats as it will expensive. This is not MAF as I checked the airflow on idle and rev and its accurate. Crossing my fingers right now and hope that it's my 02 sensors. Any other suggestions?
