Precision Porsche GT2 front fitment questions

I got my Precision Porsche gt2 kit for my 01 c2 a few days ago and am having trouble getting the front to fit properly. The sides of the front bumper, by the sidemarkers, wont get close enough to the body and is being stubborn. Anyone else have this kit? BTW, rest of kit fits perfect.

I spent an hour on it tonight and found that it fits pretty good if I have the plastic trim behind the bumper out. I just need to modify the trim so it fits back behind it properly.

I have had a couple of items from Precision and both have been great. I recently purchased a rear turbo bumper from them and took it to the shop doing my car (who constantly cringes whenever I mention aftermarket parts) and they were actually very impressed, stating that the prep work needed was very minimal compared to most.

nothing out of the ordinary, just your basic light sanding preping for paint, and of course, lining up and drilling needed holes.
