yes you can seal them....they fit flush and I used silicone to make them airtight. I used the existing wires.

Does anybody have pictures on how they modified the grill to fit an aftermarket tweeter? I got the 6.5's in the door's and just about done with the 4 inchers. But I can't come up with a good way to mount these focal tweeters........ Thanks again!

Silicone.....get some....then I completely shaved down the old mount....then cut 2 notches in the hole that is left so the 2 notches in the Focal tweeter lined up and the tweeter fit completely flush...now silicone the new tweeter in place....then let dry about 30 minutes and install....before moutning I soldered the speaker wires in place so once it dried I connected the wire I ran through the dash to that wire with wire connectors...made that simple....I used the dremel tool to do all the work to the pod....took a few minutes each pod.

Well, got all speakers in. Ended up using the little resistor off the stock tweeters to crossover the focals until I get a new amp and figure out how I am going to wire every thing up. Kind of don't want to cut up the factory wiring harness, but that means running all new speaker wires etc. Ended up diving into this rather then just a simple speaker replacement. The Focals sound way better then the stock hi-fi ones, however when you turn it up the subs still distort due to the amp I am hoping. I can't tell if the door panel is leaning up on the 6.5's or if they are ok.
