Wow- Very impressive, I can't recall ever seeing a thread devoted to praising a service / tuner shop with nothing but back-to-back glowing comments.

Lucent must be doing something very right, and doing it regularly

Best part, looks like I'm about 2 miles from Lucent!

I have a wierd squeal coming from one of the engine pulleys at about 3k+ rpm (one of those noises you can only hear when you are punching it in a tunnel or parking garage). I'll probably want to come in sometime in the next couple of weeks to have it checked out.

I have a complaint about Lucent..... I have to fight 405 traffic to get to them!!!! Seriously, they've gone above and beyond the call of duty for me... numerous times. Even disrupting their Saturday night to meet me at the shop to take care of a last minute problem for me to save my weekend at the track. NO ONE ELSE DOES THAT!!!! They've done other things for me that I wouldn't mention in a public forum, but let's just say they often go WELL above and beyond the call of duty to satisfy their customers.

If only other business were as customer service oriented.

It's unanimous. I recently had my suspension adjusted and re-aligned there. No problems, good group of guys. I just wish they were closer to me.

 

Since I'm a newbie, and have heard nothing but good comments about Lucent, I decided to try them out myself. True enough, Arling was very responsive to my emails from the get go - trying to accomodate what little free time was left of my schedule.

Long story short, they installed my new PSS9 (love the ride BTW), installed new (rear) brake pads and sensors, alignment, wheel balancing (car was shaking @ 75mph) and a bunch of other inspections to make sure I have a fun and SAFE car.

My only complaint was I got a Jeep Wrangler as a loaner (JK ). Thanks Tom and Arling...more continued success!

PS: Any plans of moving away from the 405?
