Question good service shop near South Marin (Bay Area)?

Hey Everyone-

My Dad was understandably complaining about the local Porsche dealership (Sonnen) charging a ridiculous $300 for simply changing the oil.

(1) Anybody have any other good shops in the area who will do it for less?

(2) Will having someone else change the oil void or otherwise adversely affect the warranty?

Thanks,

--Marc

Rector (Burlingame) is having discounted prices on several maintenance services. I think oil change is about $ 180. If Sonnen is charging you that much on an oil change, Rector will do the 15K, 30K, 45K, etc maintenance for about $ 380. I had mine done a few weeks ago.....On your second question, warranty is not affected. Good luck

I believe Claridges Porsche in Fremont has an ad going for $99+tx for an oil change. I think it's an ongoing ad as I've seen it for the past several months.
