Smile What are the offsets for 996 '02 up ??

Hola guys !

I'm looking for new shoes and I found some nice wheels...They are 19x8.5 (52mm offset) front and 19x9.5 rear (54mm offset)...Will they fit properly without rubbing ? And yes I'm thinking about lowering the car and btw who lowered their cars with H&R springs ??

Thanks a lot !

Just springs is the cheep way to lower any car.
OE offset on optional Carrera style 8J and 10J 18s were 52 and 65mm respectively.

Staying with OE rubber, most acknowlege that 7mm front and up to17mm rear can be spaced giving you an effective 45 and 48.......the 48 is too aggresive for some.
Personally I would not do 19s even if I was after some bling and lip (both very do-able w/18s).....but that's just me & I have both.

Transposing those #s...the rears would 'work' keeping in mind they are a half inch narrower wheel......the outer edge of the wheel whould be 4.5 mm out further than Carrerras (not saying much since some people push em out 17mm).

The fronts should be fine and close to where 8J Carreras pushed out 7mm would be...........all-in-all these could work (if you really want 19s)......and, if it were I, I'd 1.) spend a couple couple bucks on 10mm spacers & bolts for the rear.....and 2.) know exactly what rubber I'd be planning on putting on these.
But then I wouldn't do 19s.

Good luck.
