WTF. . . Engine Check Light???

Finally got around to starting my car yesterday and low and behold I get a yellow warning message "Check Engine / Take To Workshop". First thought that came to my head was, "Could it be that I pushed her too hard the other night when I was messing around with my buddy and his M3? Nah . . . " I've got about 17K miles on the speedo . . did my 1st service already.

What could possibly be wrong? The worst feeling is not knowing what the hell is wrong with your car. Need some advice.

Usually it ends up being something simple - Usually. Take it to your dealer and have them inspect it pronto! If it ends up being something serious the last thing you want to do is drive the car in that condition and risk further damage.

Gas cap...it's overly simple, but make sure you tightened it properly. Or your O2 sensor. If it isn't flashing, don't overly worry about, I'm sure it's something simple.

Good luck
