The part number is 548703. Also, you'll need to pick up some tips that fit around them or it'll really look horrible. On the link provided, that's where you can find pictures and more help with what you're looking for. Keep in mind, some of the pictures you see are where the pipes were either not cut or not cut correctly to be flush with the body.

I've been trying to find this part number on Pep Boys, but it doesn't list that part number as existing at all. I've looked up right angle exhaust pipe, muffler bypass and the part number, but no avail. Any suggestions.

Well, those were the part number that I used and they worked. It even shows on the link I provided with the part number placed on the elbow. Pep boys might've changed them... if so, I would just look for a 2.5 inch (i believe, don't quote) 90 elbow that's in their muffler/exhaust pipe section. It WILL NEED to be cut to fit a C2, don't know about a C4.

An aluminized carbon steel pipe joined to a 304 pipe is a bad idea from a corrosion point of view. The aluminized pipe will sacrifice itself to protect the 304. Depending on the climate and driving style it could take less than one year to fail at the joint.

It's 2" right angle pipe and 548703 is (or at least was) the correct part #. See the pics below.

Alan is probably right, this isn't a long term solution, but it is a great way to find out if you'll like the sound of the Fabspeed bypass pipes. They're fairly pricey and the sound isn't for everyone. I left the pep boys pipe on for about a month and then found some used Fabspeeds for sale. You can usually find some good used Fabspeeds because people will buy them not knowing how loud the car will be...

One strange thing that I just found out is that by adding the K&N series 63 air intake, it reduced the amount of resonance in the car. The Fabspeeds drone quite a bit at freeway speeds. Of course, the K&N intake is a different discussion - I've had no problems with mine.

A long term solution might be pre-bent 304 tubing. Here's a link to Burns. Their tubing is all mandrel bent. Less than $100.00 for two pipes.

Joe has them for a C4S, but they're not listed, I had them they are way different than the std 996 ones(they will melt your bumper). Call Joe at fabspeed, I'm sure they won't be as much as the 996 ones since they don't have tips.
