K&N Cold Air Intake - Stalling Problems?

Hi, I have a 1999 996 C2 (tiptronic trans) and recently installed a K&N cold air intake with filter. After the installation, I stall frequently when slowing down to make stops. Has anyone else experienced this and know of any ways that this problem can be fixed, etc? Thanks for any help.

I would start by first removing the idle control valve (ICV) on the side of the throttlebody and clean it thoroughly with carb cleaner.

Be sure the MAF isn't backwards and you don't have any leaks or it will stall and idle unevenly. Even if it's installed correctly it could take a bit for the computer to adjust for the increased air flow.
