How much is this 996 C2 worth?

So my Boxster needs a new tranny and Im beginning to think my car is becoming one of those problem cars. So buh bye boxa Mind you it hasnt even hit 60K miles. Seriously contemplating another 996, they are much cheaper than they were the last time I bought mine.

Anyways I found a very nicely optioned 1999 car. Its silver on black, gt3 aero kit, full leather interior, red stitching, sport suspension, aluminum console, carbon 3 spoke wheel, ebrake and shift ****, sport seats with crests, B&B exhaust, B&M shortshift kit, litronics, sport design wheels.

Car is just about perfect (although I wish I can find a speed yellow one!) The car has 35K miles and also comes with an extended warranty which I was going to get regardless...the guy is asking $39,500 right now.

I have seen basic optioned 99 Carreras with similar mileage sell for $30K. Obviously the aerokit and other options make it a little more desirable. What do you guys think is a fair price? Im thinking somewhere around 33...am I insulting him?

I agree, 34-36k would be a great and fair deal. Sounds like perfect options, some nice mods, and very low miles for a 99.

I know he won't get any $$ from the dealer for the mods the previous owner has put into the 99 C2.

Based on the mileage I think he can probalby sell it for $36K if he's willing to wait. So really depends I guess on how desparate he is in selling or how much you want it.

35K is really low miles for that year car...

btw, getting a car with super low mileage isn't a good thing either, if it's not driving a lot, parts of the car that require constant lubrication i.e. the spark plug sleaves may dry out and become brittle = dealer costs.
