karlooz is infamous around these parts
i thought the whole point of this was if these mods work not if these mods are worth it. "worth" is very subjective. to me it was worth it to you it wasn't. if you said that the $/hp return was less than that of going with a SC then i am in total agreement.

Isn't the dual mass better for the car? I mean vibration wise isnt it less? thats why they (porsche) put it there... but yeh that is funny.

porsche uses the dual mass FW to eliminate noise vibration and harshness NVH but because it is ~30lbs it may have a negative affect on the RMS.

Actually the reverse is true. The harmonics are better with the LWF for that.. or so they say.

so why doesn't porsche use a LWF as a factory installed option?

too much NVH for the "typical" porsche consumer. porsche doesn't want customers to whine about too much noise coming from the gearbox. imagine sitting at a stoplight and you hear this rattling from your new luxury mobile . people would complain... look at how much people rant over the RMS.

the LWF is a factory option for the gt3 RS (ROW only). you can get the fatory piece for the gt3 but may be considered aftermarket by dealers stateside. won't fit the m96 engine crank... m96 has 8 holes and gt3 crank has 9 holes.

I can't wait to install my LWF... and I love my cat bypass.. the car sounds like a cup car at the track... just listen to my video.. Not annoying at all, but then again I don't drive it everyday
