car cover
car cover
I am looking to buy a car cover for my 99 996. I am moving to MD in a couple weeks and I wont have a garage to park the car until I find a permanent place to stay. Does anyone have any advice on what car cover to buy and where I can find the best price? I found this one http://porsche.parkplacestores.com/carcovernew.html
Any suggestions/comments?
Thanks,
Jarrod

I just moved to a new pad without a garage, not that my old pad had a garage that could house my car, but still.
I've been thinking about getting a 10x10 canopy, with sides. I know it's not a car cover per se, more a temporary drive-in garage, but it could possibly keep the elements of the machine, I know my machine is not as fabulous as others here, but I love it just the same.
:-)
What do you guys think about canopies (with the correct fixtures to ground etc.) ?

Just get the factory outdoor cover from Brandywine or Suncoast. It works OK and does come with a locking strap. When you do get a garage, try the Porsche factory european cover for indoor only. It is beautifully made and well worth the money.
