I am very familiar with Allen Gun's work as many of my friends in the P-Car restoration circle have sent their wheels to have resoration done. He also does amazing custom work.

I am getting the Techart Design which I am assured it will come out identicle.

Here are my options:

Double wrapped leather (thicker then OEM) $50

Allen Gun will be doing the work himself. He is excited about the project and plans to turn this into a product offered on his website.

Here is a couple of Gotchas they only have three (3) loaner wheels available at any time.The recover takes 3-4 weeks. If you can be with out your car for that long no problem, If you can't then you need a loaner (They have a fully refundable core charge so there is no extra charge for the loaner once they get their wheel back). I know they will have a waiting list because of their quality in craftsmanship and the desire for this mod.

Got your wheel back yet?
I just sent them mine yesterday.

 

They will have mine on Thursday, I am using one of their Loaner wheels so I had to wait for it to arrive. Then my car was in the body shop for an extra 4 days. We will probably get them back at the same time. I spoke to Diane today she said she had a great response from the group. A number of us are having this done. I am really excited to get it back!

They got it yesterday I don't expect to have it for a couple of weeks.

Yes... I should get mine back this week. It has been 2 months. I am the first to get it done so custom patterns had to be created. Plus I had mine double wrapped so 2 patterns had to be created. I am very excited!
