HELP!! 1999 996 cab throttle trouble??

Someone please help. My 99 cab seems to have a sticking throttle or something wierd.

It idles at 1,000 rpm and revs to 1800 rpm all by itself. Its like someone is stepping on the gas and revving it up. The revving is constant and does not quit.

Warming it up (1/2 hour highway cruise, going fast, etc) had no effect. I live in Indy and the dealer here is a joke. I hate to take it to my mechanic if its something simple.

Any thoughts??

Help would be greatly appreciated......

Mike

Take it to the dealer...could be some sensor failure og fuel regulator. BUT also some kind of stucked throttle cabel.

Let the dealer check it.
