I drove the turbo. It was like the first time I rode a roller coaster. The ride was scary fast. I hate to sound like a woos but it really was scary. Everything was coming at me too fast. I also felt a little clausterphobic, the cabin is a little small (I am 6 ft. 200 lbs). I am 45 and maybe just too old for the car of my dreams. Do you ever get comfortable with the quickness of this car?

If you are a modaholic... if you buy Porsche you will become one... then the most options for upgrade are in Turboville. But I guess that defeats the whole purpose of your post. A better analogy would be:

C2 + $20K - $10K for super charger - $3K for suspension - $2K for interior upgrades - $4K for wheels - $1K for incidentals

or
Turbo + $5K in upgraded turbos + $5K for exhaust system + 1K for diverter valves and ECU upgrade + $3K interior upgrades + $4K for wheels + $1K for incidentals...

**** man, it's only money and I agree that a turbo is alot of money but it is alot of car. You have to decide for yourself is it work exponentially more money for the 10ths of a second increase in acceleration?

I've got 75k into my 2000 996 cab (recently SuperCharged...see post)...It's been fun as hell! Don't know what I will do when I run out of ideas...or cash...or whatever the hell comes first! My new SC'D car is F-ing scary fun to drive now, and I have driven a Turbo...two different beasts, same results...CRAZY SPEED!
