Can I put 997 seats in my 996?

Can I put 997 seats in my 996?

Just wanna know if thats possible......I like the 997 Sport seats....wondering if they will be a direct bolt in to my 996.

No, they do fit the same bolt pattern on the floor, but....the connector for the seat is different. That is because in a 996 the side airbags are in the door. In a 997 they are in the side of the seat.

so that would mean the 997 GT3 seats would bolt right on...correct???

well the airbag can be left unlpuged and you still use the one in the door just change the seat belt portion and you are fine! so yes GT3 seats fit fine..
just like RUF and other people putting in the 996 gt3 seats in the 997's

that is cool! now I just have to wait so the 997 GT3 seats come down in price...
