Sideskirts

Hey guys was on ebay checkin some stuff out and they had some GT3 MKII sideskirts on there pretty cheap. They are not OEM I believe. They are made from high quality fiberglass. Are the OEM sideskirts made from fiberglass? And would you have a problem with FG sideskirts, I know a bumper you might curious on sideskirts. Thanks

gt3 mk1 rockers are plastic... I would go oem all the way with rockers. they use special brackets for bottoms and sticky rubberized tape on top. reason why I say go oem is the fitment tolerance is unmatched. If done properly this will stay on there forever. $750 at dps.

DPS sells on ebay I believe also. I manufacture body kits and I would highly recommend getting the abs plastic or injection/reaction molded products they fit better. OEM is always better quality than a replica fiberglass component. It will probably save you time and money (at the body shop) by going OEM.

its not so much of the actual rockers themselves, its how they mount. Unless they use oem brackets and sticky tape, these will hold the rockers on solid. Maybe you can ask them how they mount and get a better idea. Like I said the oem tolerance looks like it was installed from the factory

If you buy the whole kit from precision, they actually give you a deal on the price...

I recently got the gt2 kit from precision and the quality was way under par and my body shop guy is good but there molds for the bumpers and skirts are horrible. I am thinking about taking it all off and putting it all on ebay and going oem which I should have done in the first place ! idiot...

It was all fiberglass and he described it as a mix and I wouldn't be able to tell the difference or at least that's what I thought he said. I have pics give me a min to host.
