Is yours 35% tint? Is it legal in CA? Got any trouble so far?

I am going to do mine soon... So 30% is darker then 50%?

Yes, the lower the % the darker the tint.

Yes... its a light transmission percentage. 50% allows 50% of the light to travel through... 30% allows 30% of the light to travel through.

Kirby, last night it sure was dark. I called the tint shop and they are giving me a load about me asking for 30% so i am pissed. it's my word against the techs.

We had a 5 minute conversation about how I didn't want anything too dark and that I had enough trouble seeing out the back with the wing in the way. I'm worried now that if they did do the work they would somehow screw up my car, or windows, or something. I don't know.
