Adequate for me.......but weight was the main goal........I believe you can pull down all the specs on either Odyssey's site or West Coast Batteries.

I'm in the cold midwest.........when it's pretty cold she needs the tender if not used for week or more......summer, no problem.

Total cost around $300 with a weight savings of 12lbs?
very nice looking set up.
I run a lightweight battery in my M3, saved a good 30lbs in that car.

You almost need a clear bonnet window to showcase the coolness. I love it - esp that NASA bracket

The 26.0 lb PC925 is 26Ah to 10.5v (for some reason, battery companies don't all rate to the standard 10.5v, so must be normalized before compared).

The 15.0 lb PC680 is rated at 15.4Ah to 10.5v.

If you want something with more juice, you can get the 36Ah to 10.5v Tempest BAB26-12. It's just 14.99 lbs (plus SAE posts):

http://www.tempestbatteries.com/html/bab26-12.html

It's kinda nice because it's cheap ($86 plus about $11 for SAE posts), and outperforms pretty much everything (Odyssey, Optima, Braille, Deka, Genesis, DynaBatt, etc) in its weight.

Here's mine:

What kind of mount is that on the tempest. Didn't see it on their site. Interesting alternative.

Couple of pointers as I just installed one in a 996TT.

1. The think is sharp (edges)...it will slice open your finger (the battery holder).

2. In a 996TT with BOSE, it is quite tight. So tight a fit, in fact, that you need to put the base and vertical pieces in once sized up, then the battery, then the top. Trust me, much, much easier this way.

3. Do not shut the hood....do not shut the hood. I did not. But, it opens via a battery powered mechanism...there is an emergency method...just don't shut the hood. I did not.

4. Odyssey 925T comes with the SAE terminals. This is the least expensive way to go assuming you don't already have the terminals...

5. Zip tie the drain line away and safely..you may want to put a regular batter back in one day....

6. Getting a heavy battery in and out of the car from the position it is in is tough....take all stuff OUT of your pockets and get some towns and such to protect your fenders. I turned my tires and use the rubber of the tire to bolster my knees...much easier. No dings/dents/scratches on the paint that way.

7. Works great.

8. I don't have the OEM radio. IF you do, have your codes BEFORE you do anything.

Great gadget. Much faster car now.

Very nice batteries and great info to have.
The $300 battery is a bit on the high side though...

I do like that tempest option VERY much. For sure my next mod when my battery gives out first thing tomorrow morning.
I've also been inspired to start my new fruit and water diet as part of the mod.
By next week my total weight savings should hit a staggering 30 pounds

By late fall I'll return to pizza & beer...

I am also thinking about this upgrade too. Does the Odessey 925 battery require trickle charging every night like many other "small" batteries, or is it good to go like the factory battery?

i just installed the 925 rennline kit, it's a tight fit, requiring a bit of experimentation on the install. supposed to be daily driveable, i will let you know.
