OT: In the cooper Market need 996 help...

It took 3 months but I convinced Nicole the Cooper S is calling her name. She thought I was joking 3 months ago, today she can't stand not having one. We spent this evening at the dealership. She wanted to sit in one and see how she liked it. Well she not only likes it she LOVES it. We will go and test drive tomorrow. She will prob. end up ordering a car to her specs.

I know a couple of you guys have one... What is the deal with MSRP? Is there room? Do they move? what should I expect off MSRP?

Any input is apreciated! (BTW I am excited, even though this is her DD it is really for ME! But she does not read these posts!)

Well sence you are in Cali like myself I wouldn't even expect MSRP. Yes they do move and there is room but I order mine from TX and got it in 3 months at MSRP. The stealer in San Diego wanted almost 4-5 thousand more with all of the option I ordered. Hope you I mean she has fun.

Actually I ordered mine Dec 02 and bought my MY2003 MCS from universal. Everybody says they charge above. I actually got mine at MSRP and got a free set of floormats.

13 months of ownership, 3800 miles great car couldnt be happier. If you know how to play the game, even in a place like CA you can get MSRP.

Under MSRP? Sorry cannot help you there.

Here is a pic of mine

Irvine has a 100 day from the date you order delivery. They have a "Market adjustment" charge... Silly!
