Camber inside wear?

I installed the ROW M030 and had my car aligned at Porsche approx one year ago, and noticed that the inside portion of my rear tires (285's) is wearing much faster than normal.

I was wondering if Porsche sells a different piece for ROW cars that is more adjustable that the ones on our US cars?

It is significant enough that I am thinking of going back to stock 265's as well to see if that helps... What I don't want to do is pay for an alignment and new set of tires every year...

Suggestions?

Paul

Changing tire size will make no difference. Dial less negative camber into the backend and your tires will wear more evenly. Inside wear is NORMAL with Porsche' allignment specs.

Yes, it is aligned so when cornering, the tire evens out providing maximum cornering grip.....but when going straight....the tire wears more on the inside...to even the alignment out to wear more evenly, you will lose some cornering traction....its a trade off....if you dont push your car much, you may not notice the difference....

You need to be driving your car harder. Really start drifting those corners to wear out the outside edge of the tires too to keep it even.

Paul, How do you like the ROW030? I'm thinking about adding it to my car.

Yeah I know that that is "normal" for a porshce, and yes I drive it aggressively enough to wear out the outsides too "UCrazyKid" ... Tee hee he.

But I was just hoping someone might know if in the "PET"... If there are different parts nsumber for ROW cars camber adjustment devices and thus more adjustablility to help this out...

As for how it performs:
INHO the ROW is perfect ride height, perfect as far as stiffnes is concerned up -n-down, but If I could do it again I would go with PSS9's... B/C the body has still too much roll. Now to correct the roll I need to get GT3 bars and four adjustable links... For that price I coulda just got the PSS9's and had more adjustablility

Just my .02 cents

I think whats being said is, you can adjust the camber more, it will not be within Porsche specs and will negatively affect handling, but yes you can ave it aligned with less camber in the rear. How much is available, not sure, but I doubt you are anywhere close to being at the end of the adjustment range...
