Should I worry if a rim is round, but the 1/8" inside lip
was slightly bent in by the guy putting on the tire. I can tell because the wheel is off the car (it's my summer rim) and when I run my hand around the inside lip I feel two spots on the complete oposite side of the rim's lip that are sorta crushed, nothing you'd see from the outside only when you take the rim off and run your hand around.
The rim seems round on the inside, so I just think it's cosmetic and they swear the rim balances out. It wasn't an expensive rim, and I had a hassle getting the rim (UPS issues) so I don't want to go through it again, I'll just never use this tire place again to mount tires.
I'm trying not to be too confrontational with the tire place, but do you think I should or am I worried over nothing? I guess I could have the rim repaired, that is another option, but I'm not sure even this minor damage was doable.

I had this happen to me last week. The small bend turned into a larger one which made my tire flat and now all the shops are saying "its not repairable." Its like as if someone parked next to your car and gave it a door ding and you saw it was them, I would say something and make them pay for it. This is no different. Someone damaged your property, if thats fine with you, cool, but its not cool with me.
Tire shop mis-hap happened to me also, I had a nail in my tire on my evo and went to discount tires to get it repaired, they ended up ripping my sidewall apart destroying the tire when they tried to put the repaired tire back onto the wheel. They ended up giving my a POS nitto tire that did not match up with my bridgestone s03s, drove home that night while it was pouring rain, that tire lost grip at 60 mph merging onto the freeway, caused me to hydroplane into the center divider.
So yea, go down there and demand they fix/replace it or else...
