Some sunday bumperplugs action....

So I got some new toys painted in Polar Silver from Eric@bumperplugs that you can see here :

Today I only had time to install the upper console. This is the before:

This is with the switches transfered to the new painted console:

This is what the car looks like without the upper console. This was SO much easier to do than my 99 boxster where I had to remove the radio and ac unit, such pain...

This is the new look installed. I think it looks Great!!! Thanks Eric for such a wonderful product:

And this is my helper which explains why I could only get one thing done today

And finally this is my failed attempt at creating polar silver with spray paint. I should have done first silver then blue, not the other way around..This is why you should leave painting to the professionals

Very nice indeed. I'm thinking about those rings for my dials. Are they glued on?

I simply used some silicon to put on the rings, the clear stuff from homedepot, just a small dab on 3 points, each end of the ring and the middle. They've held strong for 3 years, but if for whatever reason I wanted to remove them, the silicon would be easy to pry off and clean up.

Thanks for the comments guys.
