Pics from today, after a wash and Souveran application:

I'm looking forward to getting back to my home in the north. After a month of being on the road, I'm sick of this Sony point and shoot and am itching to shoot the car with proper gear.

CT has some seriously nice real estate. I was at a friend's house in Greenwich a month ago, and was marveling at the size of his estate - And just when I was getting used to the ridiculousness, one of their friends pulled in driving a $10M Ferrari 250GT California Spyder. I honestly couldn't believe what I was seeing:

Luckily, I had brought my photo gear with me, and the owner was cool enough to let me shoot it.

As far as my pics above go, they were taken at one of my family homes in South Carolina. My mother has lived on Hilton Head Island for the past 18 years, and my father's house in the pics is at one of the golf communities off-island. We stopped here on our way back from Florida, as it breaks the drive up nicely.

Thanks Pas! The wing is the OEM Porsche Cabriolet wing. I wasn't a huge fan of it at first, but it is definitely growing on me.

Sorry for the delayed response, I spent the day in the car, driving from the SC house to a friend's spot in Raleigh NC. An enjoyable, uneventful top-down drive in 90+ degree weather. It's been a hell of a trip down south, and thanks to the Cabriolet my tan is now of George Hamilton proportions.

Since it was so well received, here a few more of the California. I'm a car guy like (I'm sure) the majority of this forum, I was a teenager when I saw Ferris Bueller's Day Off in the theater, and being able to experience an example in person was fantastic. Some more pics from that day:

Damn JStrat - that really is a fine looking car you have there! There isn't anything you've done that I don't like... Beautiful, just beautiful!
