996 pic thread
Can't really tell from this angle if your lip protrudes past your fenders but you're definitely on the mild side. You definitely have some stretch going on but you stated that you will be updating the tires later. It will be interesting when you update the tires if you'll need to roll/pull your fenders or not. I guess you could always decrease the spacer thickness as well if your inners aren't hitting your suspension.
Either way, kudos for finishing up the MK2 conversion.
"Poke" is a relative term these days as there are many variances of opinion but the original term that meant any lip of the wheel sticking past the fender was considered "Poke".

Yeah I'm well aware of "poke" flush, hellaflush, stance, and wrong fitment cars. I actually hang out with guys that has super stretch tires and what not. But I stand behind what I like and I don't get influenced by the hype. Besides I know what NOT to do on a Porsche 911. As I stated I like flush to fender look that's it nothing over the fender on stretch tires. Yes I'm throwing 305/30 on the rear and 245/35 front. I also pre-rolled my front and rear fenders to be ready for the 305 or 315. My back spacing is fine with or with out spacers.
Thanks the MKII conversion I did myself in my garage, made a temporary paint booth in the garage with filter of course. I installed everything, wired the lights and painted everything as well as wetsand and buff... People ask what shop I took it to becasue they wanna get their cars painted and said it looks good.

New 911 owner / new to site
Hi Guys,
I'm new to the forum and picked up my 996 about a month ago. I just wanted to post a couple pictures of my "new baby". I'm happy to be on this site and have learned a lot with pouring through the information. Thanks for that! Chris

Here are some with the top down and my favorite passenger. Soft top too and I raised it 1" and aligned it. It was too low to get into and out of my work. scraped regardless of the angle I took. It still looks low, but no scraping now.
Nine_Eleven: that looks gangster as f! I love it. Nice touch with the yellow calipers. Where you at in the bay? WOuldn't mind seeing what your ride looks like with smoked rears and smoked side markers. Either way, looks great!
Thanks man, future mods GT3RS 996MKII wing, I might go yellow theme (yellow mirrors, yellow roll cage, etc) But not too much. Haven't we met before at Weksos 2011? and The BIG meet at Stoneridge? Or is that someone else with the same car setup?
Do you have the following parts?
- Mesh 19" wheels
- GT3 MKI (taco) wing
- C4S/Turbo/GT2 (side vents) rear bumper
- TechArt 99-01 front bumperl?
- Also do you have a friend that has a 911 993 C4S light blue RUF paint?
