I have a 02 Carrera Cab with the bose audio option and was wondering if it was possible to change out the becker headunit while retaining the rest of the system. If not i have the cdr-220 can i use the aux input and install a video screen with dvd player and still keep the bose system.

yes, you can swap it out or use the aux in. 03 and 04 gets complicated as they switched to fiber optics.
