Ah, you are correct. I wasn't aware they came pre asssembled. that will save time. The x74 is pre-assembled also.

It mostly likely will not have any effect on the factory warranty (inc. CPO). However, if you have a third party aftermarket warranty, check your contract carefully.

I got it, the X74 is a fixed system where as the PSS9 is adjustable.. The fact that the X74 comes with sways is a plus IMO. I know the PSS9 is going around $2000 to $2100, how much is the X74?

You can check carnewal.com for current pricing on the x74. Probably about the same as the Pss9's. BTW, I have a spare set of sways from the X74 if you decide to go with the Bilsteins.

Cool. Thanks guys. I was wondering how that would have affected the warranty. Had them before on the Boxster w/ no issues, but you never know. So, do you recommend them from shox.com or who has the best price for the 03 C4S? Thanks.

I don't even have to read all the threads... I just second whatever john says about pss9's.... I love mine, and for the best explanation, read johns posts on this!!!

Sorry for going back over old ground but just trying to get a definitive answer.

Read all the old posts over and over but trying to find which of the 2 systems would be best for me. I want a low aggresive stance and will probably track once or twice a year. The majority will be fast street driving.

Found good deals on both and actually work out to be the exact same price. I wouldn't need new sway bars as got those already on my M030.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as need to make a descision fairly soon, thanks.

I'd Go PSS9s...they will be more comfortable for the street, and you can lower it as much as YOU want to. Install will also be cheaper.

Thanks Newport, seems to be the answer that's coming back, the install looks to be roughly the same cost too so it's a very close choice...

Alpine, stop complicating the issue , it's already hard enough without throwing that in...

This I don't understand at all. I would think the install would be the same, or more for the PSS9 due to adjusting ride height and corner balancing, that doesn't have to be done/can't be done with the x74.

What am I missing?

I've had my x74 for almost a year now and love it.
