still looking for a nice c4s 2002, must have dark interior, factory litronics and power seats.
prefer silver, seal, charcoal or basalt or similar.

tried to get a factory litronic upgrade on gant's car, but they want over 4k, which is ridiculous. there is some issue that 1999-2001 litronics wont fit a 2002. so back on the hunt, with thanks to gant for his patience.

i am sure you have already heard this, but have you looked into 01 turbos? alot more car for not that much more money... (according to some)

 

For the same condition with similar miles and a similar optioned 1 year older Turbo, you're looking at $15k to $20k more, PLUS a LOT more for insurance and A LOT harder to get an aftermarket extended warranty. Stick w/ the C4S, otherwise, spend $25k more and get a 2002 (same year) Turbo.

i did not think the price discrepancy was that large but perhaps it is. a c4s is definitely the na 996 to have (gt3 out of the equation). perhaps a potential purchaser can offset the extra amount with the mods that he would have had to buy for the c4s that he now won't for the turbo. it is just a very tempting deal with not as much seperating it and the c4s as should be.

 

A 2002 C4S with 15k miles in flawless, well optioned is at least $55k. The same 2001 turbo with 15k miles in flawless will be $70k. If you NEED the performance of the turbo, I'd rather spend the extra $15k and get the turbo. The only mod that will get you turbo perf. is a SC. That's gonna end up costing you MORE that the turbo. On the backend, you'll get more of your money back out of the turbo when it come time to sell.

If you're happy with teh C4s's performance, just do about 2 or 3G's worth of mods, save the $15k and be happy.
