Question Urgent!! Jack Stand Question

I need help with where I can place a jack stand for the right front. I luckily ran over a pothole this morning on a great rally run with the guys from the Mid-Atlantic. While it was an awesome time, I bent the wheel. I need to replace the rim/or fix it, and need to have the car jacked up for a little time. Could someone please give me some info (DEFINITELY PIX) of how I can properly put the jack stand under the car after lifting it. Right now, my jack is on the main point to lift the right front, so where can I put the jack stand. Thanks.

tweety is infamous around these parts
Before anyone beats you up over this, go do a search on this site as well as the Renntech.org site for words like jacking or jack stand(s). There is a great how-to on one of these sites which shows placement front and rear.

Tweety,

Thanks buddy. I appreciate the help. I tried searching on 6speed but only found one thread that talked about the rear on a 997. This helps.

I have been using my rear jack point to get the car high enough for a front stand.......other than that I am as confused as you.

Exactly what I had to do. I was so scared SH*&LESS when I did it that the car would snap in half. , but it worked out fine.
