Part question

I have a 99' 996. On the 99' model, the part below is actually in multiple pieces. Will the part from the newer models (the all in one part) fit on the 99' model-year?

I doubt it cause the older center vent is more oval/rounded than the new ones...

NO............yours has no cupholder and therefore the top angle is different
