Throttle punch w/ muffler bypass
Throttle punch w/ muffler bypass
I have noticed that with my muffler bypass pipes, that when i punch the throttle when already moving, the car does not 'jump' as much like it did with my Fabspeed maxflo's or my stock muffler. The car still goes & makes a lot of noise (which I love) but it does not really jump like it did before... it seems to be due to the bypass pipes as it happened when i got them on, is there something I can do to get that punch back short of putting the mufflers back on?
you loose backpressure when you delete mufflers, hence loss of torque. I think the best setup is high flow mufflers and high flow cats (100cell), you have the best of both worlds sound and power gain.
However with your setup, you should be getting some gains in the uper RPM, so wich do you prefer, loss on the bottom or upper RPM band.
