GT3 wheels

Does anybody know if the new GT3 wheels would fit a narrow body 996? How about the other way around???

TIA

Nevermind...

Just found that the wheel widths are wider for the GT3 than for the 996.

Loren is infamous around these parts
I do not see why they would not fit a narrow body car -- the GT3 is one. The brakes on a GT3 are larger than a regular Carrera so brake clearance would not be a problem either.

Here are the GT3 specs:
Standard Wheels are 18"
Front: 8.5 J x 18 H2, 40.0 mm offset, p/n 996 362 136 05
Rear: 11 J x 18 H2, 63.0 mm offset, p/n 996 362 142 04

Approved Tire Sizes and Manufacturer
Front: 235/40 ZR18
Rear: 295/30 ZR 18
Michelin Pilot Sport2, N2, Directional
Pirelli P-ZERO ROSSO, N4, For specified side only

Sloth, They shouldn't be a problem, the rear is an 11 but the offset if 63 for a narrow body 996, the only place that could be an issue of rubbing would be the inner fender lining.

I was looking more to see if the wheels from a 996 would fit on a GT3. Once I relized the difference in width, the question became moot. Thanks for the help though. On that note... there may be a set of Kinesis K28's with S03's going on the market shortly...

Regards...
