'02 tiptronic shift console indicator lights
Hoping someone can answer this before I go pulling apart the shifter console-

Are the indicator letters on the base around the tiptronic shifter supposed to illuminate with the rest of the interior lighting? Mine do not-

Nope, I don't believe they do. Unless mine's not working!
That was one of my first gripes when I got the car.

lol- ok, thanks for the info. I found it quite odd considering that everything else is illuminated...

My car rolled of the delivery truck this afternoon so I've been having fun checking everything out. Day1 with my new baby...

That is correct, they do not light up. Seems funny on a 70k car. They're just painted on.
