Well the time has come to get the aerokit painted and I'm looking for recommendations on where to take the pieces....
Preferrably in the South Orange County area....
Thanks in advance.....

I just got an estimate on painting an mk1 body kit from Norm at Fabricante Auto Body in Lake Forest. www.fabricanteautobody.com
We send all of our customers Porsche's to him and have our personal cars done there also. Good shop, good people, just takes a little bit of time sometimes because of their busy schedule.
Tell him Eric @ Hergesheimer's sent you over and see what he can do for you. We work with Norm on a weekly basis.

Ok so I just noticed that it's your car I got the estimate for..... I didn't read the sig until after I replied.
The quote I gave you was high because Norm included labor for install and I didn't catch that until later. So we included installation labor twice.
I did drop off your transmission on Friday and am awaiting a call back on pick-up.

Thanks Eric......
Maybe next time I'll just call you and ask.....
Any news on the tranny would be appreciated.... It's been a month and the wife is filling the space in the garage.... and I miss driving the car too....
